Color Theory for Yarn S2 - IP- Spring/Summer 2026

*This class fulfills the Color Theory Requirement for WEKP.

In this class, you'll learn the fundamentals of color theory -  including hue, value, and contrast - and how they apply to yarn selection and stitch patterns. Discover how to combine colors confidently, create harmonious palettes, and get the results you want. Whether you're planning your next sweater or exploring colorwork techniques, this class will help you make informed, creative color decisions that bring your projects to life. Great for yarnies of all levels.

For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.

Format: In-Person

Materials Required:

Optional Materials:

● 3+ balls of yarn, different colors but similar weight (scraps are okay)

● needle/hook appropriate for your yarn

● 1-2 photos (physical or digital/on your phone) of color inspiration (such as flowers, carpets, clothes, books, anything you like the look of)

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
