Crochet Scandi Horse

Whether made as a Christmas tree decoration, a stocking filler, a Christmas table place setting or to hang on a Winter wreath or garland you will find that once you have made one of these little crochet Scandi horses you may find yourself with a small herd before you know it!

The horse is worked from the bottom up, starting with the each of the legs which are joined together at the underbelly. The rest of the horse is then worked upwards in a continuous round, with the nose being added in just before completing the head.

I used a cotton 4 ply yarn and when finished the horse measures approx. H 9cm x W from nose to tail 7cm. The pattern is worked in UK terms.
