The Heidi Cardigan from Debbie Bliss is knit in Rialto 4-Ply. While it is a simple-to-knit cardigan in stockinette stitch with ribbed edgings, the beauty of this cardigan is in the embroidered details you work after knitting. The basic cardigan is knit in pieces and seamed with set-in sleeves.
The embroidery detail includes daisy stitch, french knots, and small beads. If you prefer not to use beads, you can use French knots in their place. There is no chart for the embroidery; you get to be as creative as you like and place flowers and knots where you want.
