I'm thrilled with the yarns, it's in the queue and haven't started it yet. But, will as soon as I can get to it. The Debbie Bliss Henley Sweater is what I will knit with the Piper yarns.

Fresh and fun, Debbie Bliss Ronnie is an easy choice to add to your warm weather wardrobe. This cap sleeved top pairs two different ribbing textures with a bold eyelet band dividing them and giving the whole top a striking focal point. Debbie Bliss Piper is a blend of cotton and viscose that has a silky soft feel and a crisp stitch definition that makes the ribbing textures pop in this project. Piper's summery fiber blend ensures that you will be cool and comfortable even as the weather warms up, and Ronnie's sleek style will be easy to pair with a range of pieces for work as well as weekend outings. Ronnie is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed with sleeve stitches picked up and worked flat after the shoulders have been joined. For a comfortable top that has that bit of extra flair, Ronnie is just right!

The Ronni is a knitted top designed by Debbie Bliss, available in four size options to fit bust measurements from 86-92cm (34-36 inches) up to 117-122cm (46-48 inches). The finished garment features a bust measurement ranging from 103cm (40½ inches) in the smallest size to 123cm (48½ inches) in the largest size, with length to shoulder measurements between 50cm (19¾ inches) and 56cm (22 inches) depending on the size selected.
This intermediate-level knitting project employs several key construction techniques. The garment is worked flat on straight needles, meaning pieces are knitted in flat rows rather than in the round. The top is constructed using a bottom-up approach, where the body and sleeves are knitted starting from the lower edges and progressing upward toward the shoulders. Individual pieces are then seamed together to create the finished garment.
The design incorporates travelling eyelets that move progressively toward the left-hand side on every right-side row, creating a distinctive decorative and structural detail. Shaping is achieved through strategic decreases worked at the beginning of rows using the skpo (slip one, knit one, pass slipped stitch over) technique, combined with increases created using pfkb (purl into front and knit into back of next stitch) and kp (knit one, purl one into next stitch) methods. The pattern also includes yarn-forward techniques to create additional eyelets as part of the design.
The Ronni primarily features rib pattern variations throughout the garment. The main stitch pattern is a 2 x 1 rib, which alternates two knit stitches with one purl stitch, creating vertical columns that provide elasticity and structure. The pattern also incorporates stocking stitch (stockinette stitch) in certain sections. Additional stitch techniques include basic knit and purl stitches, with decreases formed using skpo and increases using the pfkb and kp methods to shape the garment and create the eyelet details.
The Ronni is knitted using Debbie Bliss Piper yarn in the colorway Cloud 002. The yardage requirement is 4 to 5 balls of 100g weight depending on the size being knitted. Two pairs of straight knitting needles are required: 3.25mm (US 3) needles and 3.75mm (US 5) needles. The gauge is established at 24 stitches and 33 rows over a 10cm (4-inch) square when the 2 x 1 rib pattern is moderately stretched using the 3.75mm (US 5) needles.
Length measurements should be taken over the k1, p2 rib section to the left of the travelling eyelets to ensure accurate sizing. The pattern includes detailed shaping instructions for the back neck and shoulders, with specific row-by-row guidance for moving the eyelet details and maintaining correct rib patterns on both right-side and wrong-side rows.
