Techniques Used

The blanket is worked flat using fundamental crochet construction methods. The design employs a striped pattern technique where different yarn colors are introduced in a planned sequence across the rows. The stripe pattern is created by working two rows in each color before transitioning to the next shade in the color sequence. This methodical approach ensures even, balanced stripes throughout the finished piece.

The blanket construction involves blocking the edges after completion to minimize curl, a finishing technique that helps achieve professional results and ensures the blanket lies flat and maintains its intended dimensions.
