Techniques Used

This knitting project employs several intermediate techniques that add sophistication to the finished wrap. Cable work is a primary feature, created using a cable needle to manipulate stitches and form twisted, rope-like textures across the fabric. The pattern incorporates stitch manipulation techniques, including the Wrap3 method which involves slipping stitches over one another to create decorative effects. Yarn forward increases are used to shape and add texture throughout the piece. The wrap is constructed using flat knitting on straight needles, working in rows across the full width of the garment.
