Welcome to The Velvet Acorn, here you will find purely original pattern designs in knit and crochet. Inspired and crafted with my love of nature and the outdoors in mind. The Dusklyn sweater is a raglan style sweater worked flat from the top down. The sleeves and front edges are added and completed after sweater body is complete
The Dusklyn sweater is designed with a positive ease of approx. 3-6 inches. Circumference is measured with sweater folded flat on a table at chest.
Note: Pictured is size 5/7 with a positive ease of 4.5 inches on a 6 year old.
The sample was made with Loops & Threads Cozy Wool. A suggested substitue yarn is shown below.
