Techniques Used

The Edie Wrap employs several key knitting techniques to achieve its distinctive design. The pattern features symmetrical lace edging on both the right and left sides of the wrap, worked simultaneously with the center panel. This requires managing multiple stitch sections using placed markers to keep the different pattern areas organized. The lace edges use yarn forward increases and decrease stitches to create the openwork pattern, while the center maintains a simple garter stitch texture for contrast.
