Beautiful yarn. Efficient delivery.

Gorgeous color magenta. Beautiful yarn!
Wide selection, quality yarns, fast delivery
I used this to make a summer tee with the Derecho pattern from Berroco. It was pleasant to knit with and the color is really gorgeous with the combination of fibers taking the dye in different ways and giving it a nice heathery hue. There were some spiky bits here and there and I got a lot of them as I knit, and more came out when I had it in a blocking bath and gave it its pulls in all direction. It blocked beautifully. There were still some bits remaining that made wearing it rather itchy. I went over the inside of the FO carefully with my fingertips and gave it a good brushing with a pill-removal tool, and the last time I wore it it was much more comfortable. I'm always surprised to find myself wearing wool blends in the summer, and this yarn doesn't disappoint here in coastal New England. It is only too heavy on a hot and humid day, but even then it works for running errands in and out of A/C. I would knit with this yarn again, perhaps making something for cooler temps.
I LOVE Silky Wool.
