Product Description
This cute wrap cardigan with a rounded waistband is knitted seamlessly from the top down. Shoulders are shaped using the contiguous method by Susie Myers. The front line is formed with slanted increases, which are continued after the sleeves have been separated, until both front pieces have reached the width of the back piece. Both fronts are rounded off at the waistband with some short rows. At the end, the ribbons to close the cardigan are knitted and a button with a loop is sewn on the right side seam. Bands and all cuffs are knitted in rib pattern [k1, p1].
MATERIAL: Our sample is worked with LAMANA Verona, 50% wool (Merino Superfine), 30% silk, 20% cashmere, col. 03 Seidengrau and LAMANA Cusi, 60% mohair (Super Kid), 40% silk, col. 03 Seidengrau Both yarns held together all over the cardigan.
NEEDLES:Circular needles and dpns US7 (4,5 mm) and US6 (4 mm), or circular needle for magic loop, or needle size required to obtain gauge.
GAUGE: 18 sts x 26 rows in stockinette stitch.
