Knit a piece of textile history!
The pattern for this scarf is based on Barbara Walker’s interpretation of the Dura-Europos “knitting” fragment (later proven to be nalbinding, not knitting at all.
The scarf is reversible and knits up quickly because of its shape. It's really like knitting only half a scarf!
The pattern includes instructions for both DK and worsted weight yarn. Scarf requires approximately 300 yards of DK or 220 yards of worsted.
