Freia Fine Handpaints Ombre Sock is the yarn you’ve been dreaming of! Each box contains two identical, hand-dyed cakes to make the perfect matching socks or mittens. Made of Shaniko Merino wool, this yarn is an ethically raised and minimally processed US wool sourced entirely from sheep raised in the Great Basin region. Your feet are in for a treat with this super-soft Merino wool yarn!
Note: You will need approximately 400 yards for a basic pair of socks for an average women's size.

This is a gorgeous yarn for socks. It makes a very warm and cozy sock with a lovely texture. I used it with cables and with a seed Stitch and each pair of socks was fantastic. All my friends want me to knit them a pair. I totally recommend this yarn.
