Techniques Used

This advanced beginner knitting project employs several fundamental shaping techniques to create its distinctive triangular form. The pattern begins with a small cast-on worked in the round, establishing the neckline. Increases are strategically placed using make-one stitches (M1) to expand the fabric at regular intervals, allowing the shawl to grow proportionally from neck to hem.
