      Comments about 6.70 Stick Shuttles:

These are nice shuttles made of a beautiful maple, fairly inexpensive, they work great for using thicker yarns, the only thing I would recommend is to get a length that is as close to the width of your project, the shorter ones tend to be harder to get through a wider width of work

        Comments about 6.70 Stick Shuttles:

These have quickly become my favorite shuttles. They hold a good amount of weft while still maintaining a slim profile. They are easy to put through the shed. The weft stays on well, but is still easy to unwind as I am weaving. I am planning to order a couple more of these in different lengths for a variety of weaving widths.

              Comments about 6.70 Stick Shuttles:

The Harrisville Shuttles are unfinished (no coating on the wood), which is not clearly stated in the description. When my shuttles arrived, I was fine with not having the coating. However, the sanding on the shuttles was mediocre at best. The wood was so rough I couldn't even put my yarn on them for fear of snagging and tearing.
Thankfully, I knew someone who was able to sand my shuttles into usable quality, otherwise I would have had to return them. If you're not willing to sand and work with the shuttles, I would not recommend this product. Once the shuttles are sanded you can feel that they're a good quality. I have not yet had the opportunity to use them but I'm looking forward to working with them once they are finished.
