Henry the Horse

Henry the Horse is off to the races. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the horse is knitted in acrylic DK yarns. Henry is worked predominantly in stockinette on a pair of single pointed knitting needles (not in the round), and their reins and horseshoes are single crochet chains worked on a crochet hook. If you don’t crochet, you could embroider the hooves in chain stitch onto the finished hooves, and for the reins you could use a plait or single strand of yarn. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
