Product Description
These gorgeous textured baby mitts are super quick and easy to knit... the perfect project for new knitters! If you can work a simple knit stitch and a simple purl stitch and a k2tog you will be able to knit these easy-knit baby mittens.
These super simple mittens have no thumbs for easy dressing and happy babies.
Choose any soft Aran yarn (US Worsted) weight yarn that recommends 5mm needles to knit these aran baby mitts.
NOTE: To achieve a neat defined Double Moss Stitch / Double Seed Stitch tension in your aran/worsted yarn, the main mitten is worked with needles one size down from the recommended needle size for a standard aran yarn. You will therefore be using 4.5mm (US7) needles for the main mittens
Separate easy-to-readrow-by-row instructions are included to knit these baby mitts either:
FLAT on a pair of SINGLE POINTED needles / or IN THE ROUND on DPNs
