Product Description
First released as a Limited Edition Posh Yarn Kit in July 2011.
Ifigenia is a lacy, swirly, semi-cicular thing of beauty, knitted sideways in one go, edging, borders and all.
Note: There are no rest rows! This is designed for those of us who sometimes grow tired of endless purling-back rows. Then again, there are no endless rows on ifigenia - it is knitted in 6 or 7 identical wedges, so the rows grow shorter and shorter for each wedge until you knit back across the short rows to begin the next wedge.
Beading is optional (but by all means do bead!)
I used size 8 silverlined cobalt beads from Pärltorget (with truly fabulous bending-over-backwards customer service - a very nice find!) - and using the mini-mini crochet hook (US13/14 – 0.9 mm) she sent, made beading almost easy even for moi.
