The Asymmetrical Poncho is made from a simple rectangle, folded and sewn along one edge, with an gap remaining at one side for neck opening. The beautiful poncho is made using a wave stitch which involves winding the yarn around the needle once or twice on some stitches, to create a light, airy fabric.

I have repeatedly tried this stitch, watched videos and you tube and there is something off on the pattern. It is not taking the correct shape.
