What is Being Made
The Jody Long Layla is a knitted sweater designed for experienced knitters. This garment is available in six sizes ranging from Small (to fit bust 81-86 cm / 32-34 in) through to XXXL (to fit bust 132-137 cm / 52-54 in). The sweater features a finished bust measurement of 102 cm (40¼ in) for size Small, increasing to 153.5 cm (60½ in) for size XXXL, with a full length from side neck of approximately 66-71 cm (26-28 in) depending on size. Sleeve length measures 46-48 cm (18-19 in) across the size range.
Knitting Techniques
The Layla employs multiple construction techniques to create its finished structure. The sweater is worked flat on straight needles for the main body sections, with seaming used to join completed pieces together. The pattern also incorporates worked in the round construction for certain components. The garment is constructed using a bottom-up approach, meaning the body is knitted from the lower edge upward before sleeves and other sections are added. Stitches and Stitch Patterns

Materials: Yarn and Needles
