Knitting Techniques

This approach eliminates the need for seaming and creates a smooth, continuous fabric. The pattern begins with increases worked on specific needles to create the scallop detail, then transitions to stockinette stitch for the foot section before finishing with a toe decrease.

The scallop stitch pattern is featured prominently on the front of both the leg and foot portions of the sock. This decorative stitch repeat spans 32 stitches and is worked once across the pattern.
