Techniques Used

This shawl is constructed using seamless knitting, meaning all pieces are worked as one continuous fabric without requiring seaming. The design is worked flat on straight needles rather than in the round, with increases strategically placed to create the triangular shawl shape. The pattern features striped colorwork, alternating between two distinct yarn colors throughout the construction to create visual interest and depth.

The shawl employs slip stitch edging along the sides, which creates clean, finished edges and helps maintain shaping. Yarn overs and slipped stitches are used decoratively to add texture and create openwork sections within the striped pattern.
