What is Being Made

The Bettina pullover is a women's crewneck sweater from the Pasadena Collection, available in six sizes ranging from Small to 3X-Large. This garment features a distinctive V-neck design with a prominent cable panel at the center front. The finished bust measurements range from 36 inches (91.5cm) for the smallest size to 57 inches (145cm) for the largest size, with a length of approximately 23 to 24.5 inches (58.5 to 62cm) depending on size.

Construction Techniques

The Bettina pullover is worked from the bottom up in separate pieces, then seamed together to create the finished garment. The body and sleeves are worked flat on straight needles rather than in the round. The V-neck shaping is created by strategically decreasing stitches on either side of the center cable panel, which splits to accommodate the neckline. After the shoulder stitches are bound off, the two sides of the cable panel are integrated into the neckline finishing.

Stitches and Stitch Techniques
