What Is Being Made

The Venetia Shawl is a triangular wrap knitted from the bottom up in a seamless, flat construction. The finished shawl measures 82¾ inches (210 centimeters) across the upper edge and 41¼ inches (105 centimeters) in length, making it a generous size suitable for draping over shoulders or wearing as a traditional shawlette.

Construction Technique

This pattern employs a bottom-up, worked-flat construction that begins with a small number of stitches and expands progressively through strategic increases.
