So light and fluffy! I knit a sweater and it looks bulky, but it is light as a feather. I am tempted to buy another color and make another one. Because the yarn is loosely twisted, you do need to have a care not to split the yarn.

This is a beautiful yarn. Very lightweight, soft and a but fluffy. But it is very loosely plied and the needle occasionally got caught in the fibers so maybe not for a beginner.

I really enjoyed working with this yarn, it is airy, “poofy” and a bit stretchy. The hat I made has that “just right” about of softness and warmth that’s so great about alpaca fiber. The only word-to-the-wise I’ll offer is to try to use it with a trusted pattern - it’s challenging to frog this yarn, it felts to itself.
