I'm using it for summer filet crochet items, and the softness and structure is absolutely perfect for my projects, as well as the lovely color choices. It does split a little bit on the crochet hook, but is easily remedied. Only callout would be that the knots within the yarn do cause problems occasionally, but I have made my way around them. New favorite yarn!
Juniper Moon Farm has the highest-quality yarns. Zooey is one of my favorites; it weaves into a beautiful shawl or scarf, handling easily. I also use leftover portions in Saori-inspired shawls, since the colors lend themselves to complement other yarns.
I would never purchase this yarn again. The skein was joined in 2 places with a knot so it was not seamless. Additionally the yarn was not properly combed/cleaned as there were tiny twigs throughout. These tiny twigs were impossible to remove without damaging the yarn plus there were too many to even considering doing so. I definitely regret this purchase. Avoid!
I liked the Zooey yarn enough to order more in several colors; it's a perfect yarn for a warm weather tee, as it wears cool, is comfortable, and has drape. However, I should mention that it's not the smoothest yarn to knit with, as the thick and thin areas would make my tensioning finger sore after awhile. Bandaids are nice to have on hand. :)
Knit the Leah Shawl by Anthony Casalena ( https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/leah-14 ) for my friend in Florida. The variegated blues, sand and white created a wave and foam shawl that will not add to the heat of the day. A bit splitty, but bamboo needles cured that. Lovely pattern and lovely yarn.
This yarn makes a very good dish towel on my Rigid Heddle Loom.
Love the drape of my tee-shirt!
Good color and makes a nice fabric.
I love working with this yarn to make dish towels.
