Juniper Moon Farm Zooey is a soft blend of cotton and linen with a slight thick & thin texture. This is a DK weight yarn that really softens up after washing (and it's machine washable.) Zooey is a great yarn for warmer weather, as cotton and linen are both cool fibers; the cotton adds softness to the yarn, while the linen adds strength. It's available in a range of subtle earth-tone shades. Made in Spain

What a great yarn!

By bejai

Pros

  • Drapes Well
  • Good Color Choices
  • No Splitting

OMG, I loved working with this yarn. I wanted to quickly knit up a skirt for my future daughter-in-law for her birthday. I was able to knit a flirty, lacy skirt that everybody loves!
If you're looking for a yarn soft but durable yarn with lots of drape, this is the yarn you want. I'll definitely buy more of this yarn...when it's on sale.

This is one of my favorite yarns - beautiful colors and stitch definition, lightweight and soft, interesting texture. I use it to make sweaters for summer and am trying (sort of) not to order sweater amounts in every color...

    Best Cotton Linen Yarn

I made a skirt for my Granddaughter for Christmas, and a facecloth to see how it would stand up wash after wash. Very pleased with the results. It doesn't lose color or shape, it doesn't pill, air dries quickly, and is not too heavy. Because the skirt pattern uses many different size needles, I have listed them under Best Uses. Occasionally splits but with diligence the end product is well worth the time.

I am crocheting an Aran afghan with popcorn and fpdc and bpdc and more. At times popcorns are a little difficult as yarn can split and because of its irregular nature. Overall a wonderful textured look with a lot of soothing interest.

    Superb!

    By Devinzgrandma

    from Lorton, VA

This yarn knits up extremely well, is soft to the touch, strength for long wear, and the thick-thin is just subtle enough to add textural interest.
