King Cole cottonsoft DK is one of the best yarns in my opinion for making blankets. It's super soft and 100% cotton. I only had one of the yarns that was slightly different textures than all the rest. Otherwise, they meshed beautifully with each other.
I like the softness and high quality. I'm using it for a baby blanket for charity. It is beautifully soft.
