I already had this circular needle in 40" for a previous project. It worked fine for that, a blanket. Now I was making a shawl from the top down. Eventually I needed a longer cable. This one is the same needle with a 47" cable. It arrived quickly, was exactly what I wanted and I was able to finish my project. I really love working with this needle.
