This is my absolute favorite sweater. It’s like being hugged! The fiber is delicious to work and even more delicious to wear. I’m making a second sweater in a different color.

This is a classic pullover sweater designed in three sizes (36/38, 40/42, and 44). The pullover features a straightforward construction with a crew neckline and set-in sleeves, making it an ideal project for knitters seeking a timeless, wearable garment with refined construction details.
The Lana Grossa 14 Pullover is created using the knitting craft. The garment is worked flat on straight needles and then seamed together, rather than being worked seamlessly in the round. The body is constructed bottom-up, meaning knitting begins at the lower edge and progresses upward toward the neckline. The pattern employs several key knitting techniques to shape the garment:

The combination of stockinette and garter stitch creates a balanced, refined aesthetic with subtle texture variation that prevents the garment from appearing flat or monotonous.
The pullover is designed to be knitted with Lana Grossa Linarte, a premium blend yarn that combines multiple natural and synthetic fibers. The yarn composition is 40% viscose, 30% cotton, 20% linen, and 10% polyamide, creating a fabric with excellent drape, breathability, and durability. Linarte yields 125 meters per 50-gram ball.
Yardage requirements vary by size: 550 grams (approximately 1,375 meters) for size 36/38, 600 grams (approximately 1,500 meters) for size 40/42, and 650 grams (approximately 1,625 meters) for size 44.
The pattern requires three needle sizes to accommodate different stitch gauges throughout the garment:
The back and front pieces are worked to a finished length of 56 to 58 centimeters from the cast-on edge, depending on size. The sleeves measure 38 centimeters from cast-on to the beginning of the cap shaping, with the total sleeve length reaching 64 to 66 centimeters. The sleeve cap shaping brings
