Knitting Techniques Used

The cardigan is constructed using bottom-up seamed construction, meaning the pieces are knitted from the lower edge upward and then sewn together. The garment is worked flat on straight needles rather than in the round, allowing for easy shaping and modification of individual pieces. This traditional method provides excellent control over fit and allows for straightforward seaming of the front, back, and sleeve pieces.

The pattern incorporates several shaping techniques throughout the design:
