Once the autumn comes to beach towns, a peace settles on them. The light and water seem to take on a subtly different quality at this time of year. This shawl was inspired by an early November trip to the beautiful village of Hyannis on Cape Cod.
Lewis Bay is a triangular shawl in two sizes, worked from the bottom lace edging to the neck. The beauty of the construction is that all stitches are cast on and gradually reduced to a few stitches which are then grafted together for the top-center edge. Directions are given in both charted and written form. ~ Shown in size Large ~
PATTERN NOTES 8-page pattern with both charted and written row-by-row instructions.
