Product Details
Designed for a single skein of Miss Babs’ Billow yarn, you can substitute another fluffy yarn (fingering + mohair held together, for example) as long as you match gauge. Note that I did get both the shorter size and the longer size scarf from 1 skein, but my skein was a tad over 100g.
Written for 2 size lengths, the scarf can be easily lengthened or shortened further by adding or subtracting the number of repeats worked in the pattern.
Instructions are both charted and written out line-by-line.
Gauge: 23.5 sts & 28 rows (blocked)/4” in the full pattern (dragonfly lace + the icord edges). Note that the scarf is only 3.75” wide (22 sts across, measuring with the icord edges flattened), so gauge is calculated from that. Really, it’s a good idea to use the scarf itself as a swatch since it’s a small project.
