LoftyFiber Ashley Skirt Knitting Pattern

Ashley from Louet is a fun and flouncy pleated skirt that worked in short rows using LoftyFiber Euroflax Sport. The skirt is designed in two lengths, short or knee-length. You also have the option of using any number of contrast colors for the pleat, making this a truly unique project. Euroflax Sport is the same long-line linen that you know and love. This yarn is made from flax fiber that is double-boiled to give it a soft and supple feel. Linen ‘wears in,’ getting better and softer with wear.

     Knee Length Skirt– 33 (36, 39) “waist before elastic; 24” long
Yarn Requirements: LoftyFiber Euroflax Sport (100% Wet Spun Linen; 100g/270yds)
     Short Skirt – 2 (3, 3) hanks MC and 1 hank each in 3 CC (or 2 (3, 3) skeins of a single CC)
     Knee-length Skirt – 5 (6, 6) hanks MC and 2 hanks each in 3 CC (or 5 (6, 6) skeins of a single CC)
Needles: 
     US 1½ (2.50mm) 24" circular
     US 2½ (3.00mm) 24 or 32" circular
     US 5 (3.75mm) 24" circular
Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch on US 2½ (3.00mm)
