Malabrigo Rasta is a super soft, super bulky yarn in 100% Merino wool that's available in breath-taking, hand-dyed colors! Another hit from Malabrigo, Rasta is a must-have for your stash!

Malabrigo Rasta is produced in dye lots of 5. Any order for more than 5 skeins will be of mixed dye lots. Some colors do not have any dye lots.

Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein. There may be differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive. To ensure the best results for your project:

Buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time.
When using hand-dyed yarn in your project work two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

Most delicious soft buttery smooth warm yarn I've ever worked with. This is the lobster of yarn, the 3 Michelin stars of yarn. It's absolutely gorgeous, and every moment working with this was a pleasure. I might buy a ball of yarn just to snuggle. This yarn has kept me warmer than anything else I've worked with. However it can be too good at keeping things warm and can be a little too thick to make delicate things. If you do want to make thinner less warm things, I would just buy malabrigo...

This is my new, favorite super bulky yarn.!! The colors are vibrant (I have used fuscia for a hat and scarf, and am now knitting a cabled sweater with Paris night- a deep rich blue). The yarn knits easily and quickly, feels soft and beautiful in my hands, has great body and does not split. I am a huge fan and this will be my go to yarn for future projects requiring this yarn weight.

this yarn is great for felting. I crocheted hot pads then felted them as gifts for birthdays and Christmas gifts. This yarn is over the top wonderful for felting. It's super bulky so, it doesn't take much to make the hot pads I crocheted. You will NOT be disappointed with Rasta.

I used this yarn for crocheting hot pads, then felting. This yarn is perfect for felting. I love that it is self striping and is very smooth on my hook. I bought several colors of Rasta so I can make different hot pads for my friends in their favorite colors.

The look and feel of Rasta is amazing. It’s also super warm! My only complaint is that this batch of yarn has a strong vinegar smell and I don’t know how to get rid of it.

I love this yarn it a so so squishy. I’ve used it several times. However I did take away 1 star not because of the yarn per say but because the pictures on the website absolutely do not show the yarn color way correctly at all it was zoomed in on what I thought would be the main color of greens and a bit of blue which is what I really wanted. However the main body of the yarn is dark purples and a magenta-y color not at all what I was picturing.

Perfect for quick winter projects

I love Rasta. I use it for winter hats and right now I’m knitting a sweater for my daughter. The patterns call for super bulky yarn and the projects work up fast.

Beautiful and so very soft. It just has a pretty powerful vinegar smell that is still noticeable. It's lightened up now that I've caked it up and made my project but still in there.
