What is Being Made

The design features decorative bobbles that are applied after the main knitting is complete, allowing for creative customization of bobble placement and quantity based on individual preference and size.

Techniques Used

These bootees are worked flat on straight knitting needles and finished with seaming to create the final three-dimensional form. Alternative colorways are suggested, including Glaze, Latte, Blush, Bark, Stone, Ultramarine, and Pink.

Two pairs of straight knitting needles are required: 3.75mm (US 5) needles for ribbing and initial stitches, and 4mm (US 6) needles for the main fabric. The recommended tension is 20 stitches and 26 rows to a 10cm (4-inch) square worked over stocking stitch on the 4mm needles, ensuring proper fit across all three size options.
