Needle Felting: Painting With Wool S1 - IP- Spring/Summer 2026

*This class fulfills the Non-knitting Elective Requirement for WEKP.

In this introductory level workshop, we will cover the basics of needle felting, with a focus on creating flat felt inspired by the natural beauty of landscape painting. Layering colorful fibers will allow us to 'paint' with wool, and sets a foundation for making amazing appliques or larger projects! We will also explore the basics of creating dimensional felted objects, like sculpting balls or cylinders, and how to join them together. Wool fiber will be provided by the instructor for a $5 materials fee, payable during class.

For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.

Materials Required:

Needle Felting starter kit with foam and felting needles, and separate $5 wool materials fee payable to instructor in class.
When possible, please buy your materials from WEBS.

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
