You'll need 1 ball each of 5 different colors.
Size: Adult (finished measurement 20.5” in circ, to be worn with negative ease) Yarn: Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (fingering-weight, 100% wool, 115yds/25g per skein) 1 skein each in Color A (Birch 252), Color B (Paprika 261), Color C (Prairie 812), Color D (Burnt Ochre 423), and Color E (Verdigris 772) This pattern uses almost every yard of Color A, so you may want to purchase a 2nd skein to be safe. Needles: US 2 (2.75mm) 16” circular (for brim), US 3 (3.25) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE 16” circular (for body of hat), 1 set of US 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles (for decreases) Notions: Stitch marker, blunt needle for weaving in ends Gauge: 28 sts and 32 rows in charted pattern on larger needles
