This nordic christmas ornament was inspired by the Barn Elf which is a creature from Scandinavian folklore. The pattern comes with graphs for the colour work. One ball of selected yarn will make quite a few little ornaments, a great way to use up little scraps of yarn.
SIZE: Height for ornament knitted in 3ply (fingering) yarn -- Knitted with 2.5 mm (US 2 : UK 13 or UK 14) needles - 18 cm (7 in) approx.
