A deeply inset sleeve is all the embellishment the Noro Saddle Shoulder Colorblock Top needs. Worked in Noro Taiyo, the front and back bodice are shaped with bind-off rows to create a niche for the sleeve caps. The sleeves are worked in another shade of Taiyo for subtle contrast. A round of single crochet finishes off the neckline and sleeve edges; two rounds offer structure at the lower hem.

Good Pattern, the Yarn is the problem

Comments about NORO Saddle Shoulder Colorblock Top PDF:

The pattern is easy to read. I did alter the pattern to make it long sleeve. but it did knit true to size, and I was careful to do my stitch gage first. My complaint is with the Noro yarn Col.301 lot L Silk Garden. The repeat is very long, which is fine, but the balls have no consistency. Several of the balls of yarn had breaks in the yarn and it was tied back together at the factory, thus there is no consistency in the repeat and there is abrupt color change which really affects the pattern of the sweater.
