The luscious texture of silk and mohair combine in Noro Silk Garden. This exquisite worsted weight yarn is hand-dyed in Noro's signature glorious self striping color combinations, and knits up into a superbly draped fabric with warmth to spare. Luxurious and top quality, projects knit in Silk Garden are one of a kind..
Please Note: Due to the hand-crafted nature of this yarn, knot may occasionally be found in skeins and color joins may vary.

Great colors and wonderful hand. I’ve used this versatile yarn for weaving (weft only), knitting, and crochet. It’s a winner!
When I recommend this yarn I do so with reservations. It was not what I expected. It was described as a #4, which is a worsted, but what I found was a very fine yarn, and I am not experienced with such. I'm A beginner, really, but I do love learning and experiencing new things, so I let the Silk Garden define our work together. And I've learned so much, and found so much beauty. I most like to play with this yarn before going to sleep at night and see what becomes of. it!
It’s high quality and it knits up beautifully.
I like the lovely colors and textures. I have started a project. I am making a simple lace pattern on larger needles. With the larger needles, it is flowing perfectly.
I've used Noro Silk Garden for many years. It doesn't work for every project but when it does, there is nothing better. Great texture, color, and gauge. I'm knitting a throw using many different colors, and i love the surprise when I use a new color. The variety keeps me eager to see the next shade.
I love the silky feel of this yarn It was more "thick and thin" than I had expected, but looks great in the finished product. I knit a very colorful hat, and the variants in the thickness did not make a difference. I learned there is not enough yarn in a skein to make a hat larger than a size small. I used another yarn to make the ribbed edge, and had enough yarn in one skein to finish the hat. I get many comments on the bright color way and the soft, silky feel.
I like this yarn, but the amount per skein was cut from 109 yds to 100 yds. I am making a blanket; each square uses one skein of NSG. Now one skein will not make a square. I am disappointed by the change and that Noro did not make it obvious.
