This top-down circular yoke knits up quickly and keeps you cozy whether you’re out on the range or visiting your favorite yarn shop.

The spiraling zigzag pattern can be worked with either a solid color as shown here or with a variegated CC for added pizzazz. The yoke is worked by slipping an occasional stitch and uses only one strand of yarn on a given round—no stranding. The bodice is in relaxing stockinette stitch (no purling!) as are the long sleeves, so it flies off your needles!

Sizes 30(33, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48, 51, 54, 57, 60, 63)” require 750(815, 900, 980, 1060, 1160, 1240, 1325, 1400, 1495, 1580, 1675) yds of the MC, and 90(100, 120, 130, 145, 160, 180, 200, 235, 285, 320, 365) yds of the CC in a heavy-DK or light worsted yarn.
