In honor of my 10th anniversary, I offer a 10-color celebration of color!
This is an easy-to-knit garter stitch shawl. It is very soothing to work and provides a little extra interest as you watch the color play emerge. It begins with a center tab and then is worked in a series of 2-color stripes. Each color is joined using intarsia, which is very easy to work since you are only working 2 skeins at a time. DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED; we will help you learn this new skill.
NEEDLES US size 4 (3.5mm) 32”/80cm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
GAUGE 24 sts and 48 rows = 4”/10cm in garter st, after blocking While exact gauge is not critical, variation in gauge will alter yardage requirement and measurements.
CONSTRUCTION Worked from center tab at top to bottom edge. Increases are made on the edges of all RS rows to form the crescent shape.
