this cotton yarn sheds SO much, I have never experienced this before with cotton
Beautiful color, great yarn to work with. Also from my favorite yarn company, so I'm happy!
I’ve been using paintbox yarns for years! This most recent purchase was to Tunisian crochet a bathroom rug; it’s not meant to be thick, just something I can step onto after showering. I used paintbox because it’s cotton and I wanted to have the water absorb not just sit on the rug like it would with acrylic yarn. Paintbox doesn’t unwind as you crochet, it doesn’t have knots along the way (that I’ve experienced) and it’s always been consistent with the color.
Awfully small skeins
The aran Paintbox yarns knit up smooth, and easy. Even texture with a wide colour array make versatile projects. Proud homemade gifts made with Paintbox yarns are a heritage collectable.
As per reviews, it is quite splitty but the issue for me is that it's marked "Aran weight," which it most certainly isn't. Has led to a very challenging experience knitting a pullover for my sister.
Wonderful hand. Just what I wanted
Cotton yarn can be difficult to work, but this one crochets up beautifully. It holds its shape well and neither sticks nor slides. I am a long way from finished with this project, but I am delighted with the yarn.
Cotton yarn can be hard to work, but this is a dream to crochet. It holds its shape well. I'm a long way from finishing the project, but I am a fan of this yarn.
This is nicer than I thought it would be, considering it's only a few dollars a ball when it is on sale and under 5 bucks when it isn't. I made a dishcloth instead of a swatch and it is holding up well. I even threw it in the wash and dry with my regular towels and it survived.
