I just started a pretty ambitious project and I think this yarn is working well for me. I had to rip out a few rows and it’s sturdy enough that I really had no problem picking up stitches.
I prefer DK weight yarns, and this one is a joy to work with. When doing Tunisian crochet, some yarns fight or stick to themselves too much to work up the loops evenly, or are so slippery the stitches tend to come out unevenly, but this yarn is a perfect balance of substantial and not too slick on my hooks. It works up evenly without having to constantly adjust tension, making it easy and beginner friendly to use. I love Paintbox cotton yarns.
Paintbox Cotton DK is a really versatile, easy to work with yarn. I'd go so far as to call it beginner friendly when it comes to cotton, as it's not too stiff, not too slippery, and works up very evenly. The colorways are gorgeous, and though there is not a lot of stretch or flex to this yarn, given it's cotton, it creates beautiful garments that feel nice and wear beautifully.
One of the best yarns I've worked with to date. The yarn has substance to it, but isn't slippery on my hook or too stiff, which makes it come together beautifully when doing Tunisian crochet. The colorways are gorgeous and consistently dyed, all in all, my favorite cotton yarn, especially for the price point.

So happy I found a NA store where I can purchase Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK. I had placed an order earlier in the year with an overseas store but I did not purchase enough. So happy to see the colors matched perfectly and I love the texture.
The quality of the yarn is nice. Colors are beautiful.
The skeins were a little smaller than I thought they would be but the price was a good deal. The quality of the yarn is very nice, the texture super soft. The variety in color was a plus and I like that you can be notified when out of stock items are back in. My order got here quicker than expected too which is always a bonus!
