Terrific color and hand to the yarn. This will make a great spring sweater.
I had some warning from other reviewers that this yarn was likely too coarse to use for clothing or baby blankets. Thank you, previous reviewers! Still, I figured that I could buy a fairly substantial amount for knitting potholders, wine bottle bags, and market bags. I do find it quite rough to the touch. It was especially difficult to knit with wood needles [KP Dreamz]. When I switched to metal needles, it was somewhat easier. [I read about this type of issue after much frustration.] With the pointy metal needles [KP Mindful lace], I encountered some yarn splitting. Now that I have one potholder under my belt—and some ideas on how to make the knitting experience a bit easier with this yarn—I've decided to keep the yarn that I have. However, I won't likely buy the recycled cotton worsted again.
the finished product is a bit coarser than I had expected
Great stitch definition!
Quality yarn, great price.
