Product Description
Knit from side-to-side using short rows to curve the crown. This allows a wonderful star to form using short rows in the cables. Work begins with a provisional cast-on and the start and end are grafted together when you finish for a seamless hat.

- baa ram ewe ‘Dovestone’ (50% BFL, 25% Wensleydale Longwool, 25% Dark Brown Masham, 252 yds / 230 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g); colour: Goathland; 1 (1) skein.
Needles & Notions
- US size 6 / 4 mm straight needles
Always use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed, as every knitter’s gauge is unique. Crochet hook approx. size of knitting needle, waste yarn, cable needle, tapestry needle.
GAUGE 30 sts and 30 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in pattern blocked.
ERRATA:
- Page 22: Omit twice (three times) as it is just a repeat of two (three) times in the first section of the grafting.
