Product Description
Comfy, oversized sweater with raglan sleeves and side pockets. The sweater is worked from top down with yarn held double except for the pockets that are worked with a single strand. The work begins with the ribbed turtleneck. The neckline is then shaped with short rows. When the raglan increases are completed, sleeve stitches are placed on hold. The body is then worked in the round to the beginning of pocket openings. Front and back are then worked separately to the given length and then joined for working in the round again. Stitches for each pocket are picked up around the pocket openings and the pockets are worked in the round. Sleeve stitches are then placed back on the needles and the sleeves are worked in the round towards the cuffs. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for german short rows.
GAUGE 22 sts and 28 rows in Stockinette stitch using larger needles and yarns held together = 4” / 10 cm after blocking
