Product Description
This set of toys will keep the little ones occupied as they imagine tales of chilly adventure, or to create a centre-piece for your Christmas table. The knitting pattern includes the instructions to make the penguins, hats and scarves, igloo, mat, tree, sign-post and little fish. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, all are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The penguin tummy panel is knitted using intarsia colour-work. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, short rows to make the mat, and seaming to finish. Penguins are 6 cm tall, igloo is 7 cm tall x 14 cm wide (including doorway), display mat is 25.5 cm diameter, and the tree is 7.5 cm tall.
