Product Description
Penguins, a perennial favorite, are on this front and back of this sweater, and it has a wide boat neck so that it is easy to pull on and off.
Sizes 2, 4 and 6 are worked with sport yarn on size 6 (4mm) needles. Sizes 8, 10, and 12 are worked with worsted yarn on size 10 (6mm) needles.
The larger needle size makes the penguins bigger on the larger chest sizes.
If you are new to intarsia, and want to give it a try, this is a good place to start. The full color charts are easy to follow, and changing yarn colors is clearly explained.
Skill level: INTERMEDIATE
The sample was made with Rowan Cotton Rope (worsted weight, for sizes 8, 10, 12) and Tahki Cotton Classic (sport weight, for sizes 2, 4, 6). Some suggested substitutes are shown below.
