Planters Punch

Planters Punch is a pullover with delicate cables along the yoke that plays with knit and purl panels. It's a simple design, easily adapted to either a summer shell or a winter pullover, and the pattern contains directions for either. The cables on the front and back are fun to work and beautifully intricate in either a bright cotton or a delicate tweed. After they're done, a stockinette body makes for a very easy beach knit! It's written with 3" of ease in the bust, and 1.5" of waist shaping, for a comfortable fit. But it can easily be adapted for a body conscious shape if you prefer :-) The summer version is pictured in Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny dyed cotton in Cherry and the winter sweater is shown in Rowan Scottish Tweed DK in colour #011. The winter version, with 3/4 sleeves uses more yarn than the summer version, yarn suggestions are given accordingly. Remember to always check your gauge.
