Since this was my 4th or 5th order, I love this yarn. It's one of the softer alpaca yarns I've bought. The banks are easy to wind without tangling. If I'm making a top/down hat with a narrow brim 1 hank is plenty but if I make the typical bottom/top BLO brim +especially if the brim is BLO to be wide enough to turn up definitely but 2 hanks. I haven't put the pompom on yet but it's a $20 pom which will showcase this yarn superbly.
Lovely aft yarn.
I'm very happy with this yarn. Super soft and crochets well. My only complaint is that it sheds a lot.
